Brave the cold with the 12V 200Ah LiFePO₄ Heated Battery from the Polar Series. The Polar Series includes all features of the popular Kodiak Series but also includes innovative self-heating technology. This battery will self-heat when charged in sub-zero conditions, making it an excellent choice where power is required all year round or where the battery is exposed to the elements.
This 12V 200Ah LiFePO₄ deep cycle battery is a great choice when users have higher capacity and/or power requirements but don’t want to sacrifice more space or weight than necessary. Often used in medium to large RVs, trailers, on the farm, in off grid-cabins and in back-up energy application. Because of the self-heating function, the battery is suitable for four seasons use and can be mounted in places that are exposed to the elements, such as on the tongue of a trailer or under the step of an RV.
Featuring a 1C charge and discharge rate it can be charged in as quickly as one hour and provide a constant current of up to 200A at 12.8V. Up to four batteries can be wired in series, allowing this battery to be used in 24V, 36V and 48V applications. Up to four may be wired in parallel providing up to 800Ah of capacity and a constant current up to 800A. The 12V 200Ah Polar Series provides the power and capacity to meet the demands of most users with higher energy requirements and heavier duty applications.

Yes, they can be connected up to 4 in parallel and 4 in series. If desired, you can create up to a 800ah 48v bank.
Hi Chris, it sounds like you will need a new Solar Controller that is lithium compatible, something similar to the Victron MPPT controllers we sell in our store (https://bearvolts.ca/product/smartsolar-mppt-charge-controller/). Depending on what you currently have, you may also need a new AC to DC charger/converter . Hi Robin, this would depend on a few factors, including your usage habits, maximum current draw and how frequently you charge the batteries. Ben and Alana were very helpful. Thanks again and so far our battery has been going for 15 days and hasn’t used any juice at all. We will be taking it for the ling weekend camping where it’s a little colder then we will also fund out how ot works when it’s a bit colder.
Been using 200 AH Polar Series for 6 months and they have been fantastic. They replaced 2 6V AGM that came in my MH. These batteries are top shelf prismatic cells with a quality BMS, which provide fast charging and balancing of cells. I’ve only seen the BMS in balance mode once when battery’s were new. Every time I’ve checked with app they were within 0.10 V. Highly recommended and a great value.
Fantastic customer service from Ben – he reviewed the specs of the solar system on my RV and was able to confirm that it could handle a lithium battery. I bought the Polar Series 200 Ah battery and it was delivered fully charged within days. Looking forward to the camping season!
